Educational Quality in the Middle East and North Africa
The term educational quality is a fluid term. It changes with the times since our standards of excellence also change depending on who is influencing and determining how these standards are to be defined. Educational quality in the Arab region has become a focal point of interest among a range of actors including international organizations such as the World Bank, UNDP, and UNESCO, regional organizations such as ALECSO, and nation-states and their national institutions. These actors disseminate their vews on educational quality. Our intention is to explore a range of views including alternatives to dominant paradigms.
